  • I LOST SOMETHING IN A TAXI. WHAT DO I DO?

    If you lose something in a taxi, you can call us on 1300 WEST TAXI and ask to speak to our lost property department. Our lost property department will do their best to help locate your lost item(s), however, please keep in mind that most lost property items are never recovered.

    If your property has been lost for more than 24 hours, please contact your local police station.

  • CAN I PAY FOR MY TAXI OVER THE PHONE?

    Unfortunately, you can’t pay for your fare over the phone, however we offer many options for payment in our taxis, including cash, EFTPOS, credit and cabcharge.

  • I WANT TO TRAVEL IN A TAXI WITH MY CHILD. DO WE NEED A CHILD RESTRAINT IN A TAXI?

    Children under one year do not have to use a child restraint in a taxi. Children over one year must use a seat belt or child restraint (supplied by the passenger) in a taxi. All taxis provide an anchor bolt or fitting for one restraint.

  • TRANSPORTING BELONGINGS IN A TAXI: WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW?

    The following items* are not permitted in taxis:

     

    *Furniture eg. Tables, couches etc.

    *Whitegoods eg. Fridges, washing machine

    *Open alcohol bottles

    *Any illegal substances

     

    Please remember, it is ultimately each individual drivers choice as to what they will take in their taxi.
